Welcome

Welcome to COAadvocacy.com, the on-line home of the Community Oncology Alliance Patient Advocacy Network. Founded in 2003, COA remains true to its mission as a proud advocate for patients, oncologists and community cancer centers across the United States.

CPAN is inclusive, non-cancer type specific and welcomes all motivated volunteers. Speaking on behalf of patients and the dedicated professionals who serve them, CPAN features a distinctive combination of professional expertise with the fervent commitment that can only come from personal experience with the disease.

As a CPAN volunteer, you will have the unique experience of advocating alongside oncologists, cancer clinic practice administrators, nurses, and your fellow cancer patients, survivors and advocates. Opportunities for volunteer advocates include networking with advocates from across the country, attendance at members’ events (conferences), annual lobby day in Washington, DC and the opportunity to be part of our speakers’ bureau.

Join us (membership is free) as we work together to become more active participants in issues impacting quality accessible cancer care.
